Registered Manager
Patricia Uwechue
Patricia has obtained NVQ 4 in Health & Social Care and an NVQ4 in LMC (Leadership in Management and Care). Patricia holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a First Degree in English.
The Registered Manager is supported by experienced DBS checked motivated staff.
Staff
The Home has a good number of staff with relevant and adequate qualifications and experience. Staff complete an induction programme which includes briefing and subsequently courses on Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire and Safety, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Protection of Vulnerable Adults (Safeguarding Adults). In addition staff are trained in the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, diversity and any other training identified as being relevant to their job description and the needs of the service users.
Staff support and Supervision
Staff undergo regular appraisal and supervisions. Supervision is identified as an important process for staff development and quality care service delivery for desired outcomes. Areas needing improvement are addressed by training while staff are commended for good performance.
